HOLLYWOOD - Salma Hayek has signed a deal to produce a series of new shows following her success as executive producer on Ugly Betty.
US television network ABC has struck a deal with Hayek and producing partner Jose Tamez to work on new projects for the studio through their company, Ventanarosa Productions, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
It is the second producing pact for the former Hollywood actress. Last month the duo launched a film company, Ventanazul, in partnership with MGM to develop, produce and acquire mainstream films that either draw on Latin themes or feature Latin talent.
