Britney Spears has fuelled speculation that she is pregnant with baby number three after paying a low-key visit to a U.S. medical centre.

According to insiders, the recovering pop mess spent two hours at Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in L.A. before being whisked off to Costa Rica with new pal Mel Gibson.

Brit’s expanding waistline over recent weeks has prompted speculation that she is expecting another child.

However, a source tells the UK’s Sun: “Despite daily workouts, she has put on a lot of weight in recent weeks.

“She isn’t saying if she is pregnant, but she is taking medication which has affected her weight.

“Living with her dad - a chef - means she has piled on pounds. She is extremely paranoid about her body at the moment.”
