Synopsis:
Ziegfeld begins his career as a sideshow barker and works his way to becoming the Broadway impresario extraordinaire. He marries temperamental actress Anna Held, but their relationship is too turbulent to last. Later, he marries another actress, Billie Burke and, after enduring many dark days, finds fame with four simultaneous Broadway hits.
