Sophie, twenty-ish, lives in Hamburg where she leads a quite ordinary life: friends, work, parties at the weekend… But, for the first time in her life, this young woman must make an important decision: she is pregnant, but undecided as to whether to keep the child she is carrying. She has no idea of who the father might be, but knows for sure that it is not her boyfriend Manuel. However, whatever Sophie decides, Manuel feels the decision is up to her and one he will accept without argument. To come to a decision, Sophie sets herself the abortion appointment as a deadline. She still has one night left to choose between life as part of a couple or pregnancy and the new life which would result.
