Synopsis:

Berlin, summer. Two friends in a cafe. Valerie has just moved, Sophie is leaving for Rome for six months. Events, encounters and relationships. Moments of half a year. The two friends do not talk about their longing, but tend to conceal it. That's because they may not know exactly what it is that they long for. This is a time in which fundamental decisions are made and you constantly have the need to know exactly what you want. How much freedom do you need? Do you want children? Should you work for yourself or for others? What do you long for?
