Synopsis:

The story of Elwood P. Dowd, a kind and generous man, and his relationship with Harvey, a giant rabbit that only Dowd can see. When Dowd's sister Veta Louise decides to have Elwood committed to a mental hospital it unleashes a turn of events and a debate as to the real or perceived existence of Harvey.
